    It’s used between the toilet floor pan (the back‑outlet / spigot of the toilet bowl) and the soil / waste plumbing (110 mm diameter).
    The rubber seal component ensures a snug, leak‑proof connection as the toilet pan is pushed into it.
    The dimensions and shape accommodate alignment and some flexibility, making it easier to install the toilet relative to the waste pipe stub.
    Often used in above‑ground installations (within a bathroom floor cavity or box) where the pan outlet must connect to a fixed PVC waste pipe.
