A generic 400kPa master safety valve (often a Temperature and Pressure [TP] safety valve or a Masterflo pressure control valve) protects your electric water geyser from dangerous over-pressure and high heat. It safely releases water if internal pressure exceeds 400kPa or temperatures rise past 93°C
