Function: It is a coupling used to create a secure connection between a flexible hose and a female-threaded port or fitting
Connection 1 (Threaded End):
Features a 3/8-inch Male thread, typically BSP (British Standard Pipe), which can be parallel (BSPP) or tapered (BSPT) depending on the specific product.
This end screws into a female-threaded port.
Connection 2 (Hose End):
Features a 10mm hose barb (or hose pillar/tail), which is a barbed stem designed to provide a tight, push-fit seal on a flexible hose with a 10mm inner diameter (ID).
A hose clamp or crimp sleeve is usually recommended to secure the hose onto the barb
