Spanner Locknut is used to remove the control spindle (031R). ( The spindle valve is used to control the flow of gas to ensure flame size is correct for cooking applications. This Spanner Locknut is made from brass and should be replaced at least once per year if cylinder is used daily. Spindle for Cadac internal valve gas cylinder should only be replaced by qualified personal in a safe environment. “)
