When using the appropriate cooling system, the drill bit has the lowest possible level of friction and minimal wear, due to its titanium-nitride coating.
The high surface quality of this ground twist drill bit, which is made from HSS (high-speed steel), allows for extended usage.
It is suitable for use on alloyed and non-alloyed steel, malleable cast iron, sintered iron, new silver, copper, bronze and hard plastics such as perspex.
This drill bit has a cylindrical shank system (shank equal to drill bit diameter) and is intended for use in drill stands and drill drivers.
The HSS Twist Drill Bit TiN-coated is manufactured to DIN 338.
The drill bit is Type N (flute angle) with a 135-degree tip and a diameter tolerance of h8.
Active cutting and perfect centring without wandering are achieved by the pointed split-point tip.
Do not use with aluminium and only work with a cooling agent.
Cylindrical shank compatible with three-jaw drill chucks.
