Poultry vaccine for active immunisation of pullets (chickens) in order to reduce mortality, symptoms, lesions and the decrease in egg production due to fowl typhoid (caused by Salmonella gallinarum) and to reduce infection and persistence in the internal organs and ovary of Salmonella enteritidis. Immunity develops within 3 weeks of a single vaccination and persists for at least 3 months after application of the recommended vaccination programme.
