    Versatility:
    AfriSam All Purpose Cement is ideal for a wide variety of applications. These include brick and block making, reservoirs, swimming pools, precast operations and shotcrete, as well as structural concrete, plaster and mortar.

    Better cohesiveness: 
    Adding Fly Ash to Portland cement increases the cohesiveness of the mix and improves workability. Microscopic spheres in the Fly Ash reduce the water demand of mortars and plasters made with AfriSam All Purpose Cement. Plus, the resultant mix bonds plaster better because of its stickiness.

    Reduced permeability: 
    Mineral components improve the concrete density and reduce the potential penetration of harmful substances such as oxygen, moisture, carbon dioxide, chloride or sulphates. This minimises the risk of corrosion, improves durability and makes for stronger structures.

    Low Strength Concrete

    For low-strength 10-15 MPa (nominal at 28 days), this concrete mix is best used for unreinforced foundations in single-story houses and free-standing walls.

     

    Medium Strength Concrete

    For medium strength 15-25 MPa (nominal at 28 days) this concrete mix is suitable for reinforced foundations and slabs, light-duty house floors, paths, patios, steps, driveways and garage floors.

     

    High Strength Concrete
